Silence Speaks Volumes

In the book of Genesis God spoke the world into existence, with the sound of His voice He made the universe the planets, all the animals, and not to mention through out recorded human history God spoke through prophets, kings, and priest. What am I saying? God has never been shy about speaking his mind. In all that God has said, what happens when God chooses to remain silent?
