Silence Speaks Volumes
In the book of Genesis God spoke the world into existence, with the sound of His voice He made the universe the planets, all the animals, and not to mention through out recorded human history God spoke through prophets, kings, and priest. What am I saying? God has never been shy about speaking his mind. In all that God has said, what happens when God chooses to remain silent? In Psalms 13 David asked “How long will you forget me, O Lord? Forever? He also asked how long will God hide his face? In the times that we need to hear from the Lord what does His silence say to us? Stop? Wait? I can say with assurance that God has not turned a deaf ear, He has not forsaken us, and in the times of silence he wants us to come to the the same conclusion as King David “But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the Lord, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
