Garbage In Garbage Out

“Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught.  But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.   For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:”  (Matthew 15:17-19)

Jesus was explaining to his disciples that it is not what they eat the makes the the person unclean, but he continues and says what makes a person unclean is what comes out of his mouth.  Why?  Because what comes out is 100% linked to what is in a persons deepest heart.  I have been teaching in Sunday School about the Christian LIfe, and in times of trial and tribulations  the things that we have inside usually come to the surface.   I like to use the analogy of a grape.  Wouldn’t it be interesting if when a grape is squished lemon juice came out?  That is so uncharacteristic of the grape So it is that when life comes against us it would be great if Christ came out. It is his character that should show forth Our lives are not just read when things are going well, but the more so when things are not.  In those times we need to have been “dwelling in the secret place of the Most High” (Psalm 9).  What we have been putting into our hearts will tell,

  • I have been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before. best reseller hosting | cpanel reseller |

  • Pastor Rick:

I’m reminded of King Agrippa in acts Acts 26, Paul poured out his testimony about how Jesus revealed himself to him on the road to Damascus and all that God had brought them through, the kings response was that he was “almost persuaded’ to be come a christian. Here’s the issue what is it that I can say that would persuade maybe answer some question, maybe solve some aged mystery, or even by the grace of God walk on the water. If the word of God cannot persuade, no answer, not act will because even if we see God Himself comes down, and declares He is God, many will not believe. What you must ask yourself who is God and what does he want you to do.

  • Along with almost everything which appears to be building throughout this specific subject material, all your points of view are relatively radical. On the other hand, I appologize, because I do not subscribe to your entire idea, all be it refreshing none the less. It looks to everyone that your comments are generally not completely validated and in reality you are your self not really totally certain of the point. In any case I did enjoy reading it.

  • This design is incredible! You certainly know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
